LaShonda Jackson lives in Overland Park Kansas with her three children. It is her personal mission to get children motivated to read more. While currently employed by the United States Postal Service, she can also be found in schools reading to children, speaking to them about the importance of literacy and encouraging them to dream dreams that remove them from their ill-perceived “box of limitations.”

Lashonda also enjoys Sunday service where she can be found assisting with the youth. Being spiritually connected, she is continuously in search of how to become better and serve others. Currently, LaShonda is working on her personal memoir that is slated for release, early 2011. Her other interests are writing for Beautifully Said Magazine, an online magazine that celebrate women in a positive way.
