LaShonda Jackson, resident of Overland Park Kansas and mother of three, has made it her personal mission to get children motivated to read. In her book entitled “Kori the Book,” the first in a series to come, the characters in the story come alive to do the things that children do daily in their classrooms. Much like in classrooms around the world, there is one student, Kori, who is having a difficult time in school. With the help of a little boy named Taylor, Kori discovers what he is all about. Read along with your children as they learn how fun books really can be, because reading encourages them to use their own imagination.
